Coffeehouse - Crossroads Hospice Society

For over fifteen years local musicians from across the Lower Mainland have joined us to help raise funds and awareness for the Crossroads Inlet Centre Hospice. Our "Unplugged at the Crossroads Hospice Coffeehouse" series is set in a causal atmosphere centered on acoustical performances from a wide range of musical genres.

    The Lawless Firm consists of Michael Dunn (guitars), Eleanore Dunn (Chanteuse and ukulele) Joe Bour - chier (bass and Vocals) and Edgar Bridwell our jazz violinist.The repertoire is from the American songbook of the 30ís and 40ís along with a little country, some blues, a bit of Hawaiian, Tango and Russian! And letís not forget Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry.

  • Jan. 26 JES
    JES is Jane Slemon, Ellen van der Hoeven, and Susan Larkin. A tight braid of voices backed by a tapestry of instruments, the members of this musical friendship often can't help but get themselves mixed up with one another. JES brings a diverse repertoire that includes celtic, folk roots, and original songs.

  • Feb. 9 Ivan Boudreau
    A professional musician/songwriter and wandering minstrel for over 40 years, with roots in Nova Scotia, and years in Boston, Toronto and Vancouver, with a passion for stories and songs that are honest and heartfelt. Only an experienced, gifted songwriter can create this intimate narrative relationship with their audience - thought provoking, and unique, with hauntingly beautiful melodies and rhythms that take his audience on an insightful journey of reflection.

  • Feb. 23 Second Wind
    Second Wind is a Canadian duo based out of Vancouver, Canada. Formed by long time musicians and friends, Jon & Kevin, the song-writing team took a break from their former bands and decided to focus on acoustic and melodic compositions and cover renditions. Their eclectic song repertoire incorporates flavours of Folk, Pop, Rock, Acoustic, Alternative, R&B, Country and everything in between. Ranging from energetic to soothing, and from contemporary back to golden oldies, a Second Wind performance has something for everyone, and is sure to tantalize your musical tastebuds with some acoustic ear candy.
